She would then go down memory lane, sharing the stories behind each saree—the ones she draped for her wedding, the ones gifted by distant relatives that she still keeps because, after all, they were gifts.

Though some relationships have grown distant over time, the sarees remind her of the good old days. I have always felt that those six yards of fabric hold countless emotions—ones that are hard to put into words.
